180 days of cover, with the exceptions written down.
A worker replacement warranty is a written employer-protection agreement: if a worker deployed from Bangladesh leaves early or cannot meet the agreed job requirements within the 180-day cover period, Manpower BD sources a replacement at no additional recruitment fee. This page sets out the warranty terms – what is covered, what is not, the conditions that apply and who pays which cost – so you can read the exceptions before you sign, not after.
How Does the Worker Replacement Warranty Work?
- If a worker leaves or cannot do the agreed job within 180 days of arrival, we source a replacement.
- Cover includes resignation, absconding, medical failure and documented under-performance.
- You report the vacancy and approve the profile; we source and screen a substitute in Bangladesh.
- The replacement carries no additional recruitment fee; you pay only third-party fees.
What Does the Replacement Warranty Cover?
Early Resignation Cover
If a deployed worker resigns before the 180-day warranty period ends, we source a vetted replacement worker from Bangladesh. You pay no additional recruitment fee for the substitute.
Skill-Mismatch Cover
If a worker cannot meet the technical standards written into your demand letter, the replacement warranty applies. We supply a candidate matched to the documented job requirements.
Absconding Cover
If a worker abandons the contract without notice inside the warranty period, the replacement process is activated. Sourcing starts once the departure is confirmed and the profile is agreed.
Medical-Failure Cover
If a deployed worker fails the destination-country medical on arrival, a replacement is arranged. Secondary screening is completed before the substitute travels.
Conduct & Discipline Cover
If a worker is lawfully dismissed for serious misconduct, the warranty supports a replacement. The terms follow the conditions set out in your recruitment agreement.
Probation-Period Cover
Your on-site probation is backed for the full 180-day warranty window. If the placement does not hold during that period, the replacement warranty applies.
Trade-Tested Before Travel
Every worker sits a practical trade test at an accredited assessment centre before deployment. Verifying real skills up front lowers the risk of a replacement claim.
Pre-Departure Medical
Candidates complete the approved Gulf pre-departure health checks before travel. Fit-to-work screening reduces medical failures on arrival.
Background Verification
Local identity and police-record checks are completed before a worker is put forward. Verified backgrounds protect your workplace and support visa approval.
BMET Emigration Clearance
Each worker obtains Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) emigration clearance and a smart card. Deployment follows the government’s overseas-employment procedure.
Trusted Replacement Cover
Written, Enforceable Terms
We set the worker replacement warranty out in writing instead of burying it in generic terms of use: the 180-day cover period, the covered scenarios, the exceptions and who pays which cost. Standard cover ends 180 days after the worker’s arrival, and third-party government, visa and medical fees stay with the employer. If a covered placement fails within the period, we replace the worker on the terms you agreed before signing.
Deep Bangladesh Sourcing
Because we recruit and screen directly across Bangladesh, a replacement worker is drawn from a talent pool our in-house team already knows. We source without a chain of sub-agents, so the candidate you approve is the same person we interviewed, trade-tested and screened. That direct model is what lets us honour the replacement warranty on the terms written into your recruitment agreement.
Priority Replacement Sourcing
A warranty claim is not treated as a slow back-office request. Once the departure is confirmed and you approve the replacement profile, sourcing moves to the front of our queue rather than waiting behind new recruitment orders. Visa processing, medical checks and BMET clearance still take their normal course, so we give you a realistic schedule when the claim is opened and keep you updated as the shortlist forms.
Screening That Reduces Claims
Screening before departure is the first protection behind the worker replacement warranty. Every worker we deploy completes a trade test, a pre-departure medical and background checks under our screening and quality assurance process, so fewer placements fail after arrival. The warranty then covers the cases that screening cannot predict, on the terms written into your agreement.
Cover That Protects Your Timeline
When an overseas hire leaves unexpectedly, restarting a full international hiring cycle can leave your site short for weeks. Under the worker replacement warranty, we open the claim as soon as you report a covered departure, and sourcing starts once you approve the replacement profile. Because interviewing and vetting run in-house across Bangladesh, the replacement search builds on the demand letter and job profile you have already approved.
Each worker is trade-tested against the skills and standards written into your demand letter before being put forward, so you approve tested candidates. If a placement still fails to meet those documented requirements inside the 180-day period, the replacement warranty applies. You are not left carrying an under-performing hire – the worker is replaced on the agreed terms, and the substitute is matched to the same job profile you approved.
Replacement costs are set out in writing before you sign, not raised after a placement fails. Sourcing, interviewing and administrative handling of the replacement carry no additional recruitment fee, and the replacement worker pays no recruitment fee either, under our Employer Pays commitment. You cover only standard third-party hard costs, such as government, visa and medical fees, which any compliant deployment carries.
How Do You Claim a Replacement?
Report the Vacancy
Tell our team the role has fallen vacant and ask to open a replacement claim. We confirm the placement is inside the 180-day warranty period and explain the next steps.
Agree the Profile
We review the job requirements from your original demand letter and agree the replacement profile with you. You approve the candidate specification before sourcing begins.
Sourcing & Vetting
We interview, trade-test and medically screen replacement candidates across Bangladesh, keeping you updated as the shortlist forms. You review verified candidates before selection.
Replacement Deploys
We handle the outbound processing, including BMET clearance and visa formalities, and the approved replacement worker travels to your site ready to start. Support continues after arrival.
What Are the Replacement Warranty Limits?
These answers summarise the warranty; your recruitment agreement sets out its full terms before you sign. Every replacement is deployed under the Overseas Employment and Migrants Act, 2013 (Act No. 48 of 2013), the statute that governs overseas employment from Bangladesh. Manpower BD recruits under Government-Approved Recruiting Licence RL-1472. Reviewed by Manpower BD Team.
Does the replacement warranty cost extra?
No. Sourcing, interviewing and administrative handling of the replacement worker carry no additional recruitment fee under the worker replacement warranty. You pay only standard third-party hard costs, such as government, visa and medical fees, which apply to any compliant deployment. The cost split is written into your recruitment agreement, so you know who pays which cost before any claim is made.
How long does the warranty period last?
The standard cover period is 180 days from the worker’s arrival, as set out in your recruitment agreement. Any extended cover for specialised or senior roles is agreed in writing before deployment. Without such an extension, a departure or failure after day 180 falls outside the warranty, so the cover window is clear from the day the worker arrives.
What does the replacement warranty not cover?
It does not cover departures after day 180 unless extended cover was agreed in writing, and it does not waive third-party government, visa and medical fees. Under-performance is judged only against the duties written into your original demand letter, not a subjective view. A replacement after a lawful dismissal for serious misconduct follows the conditions in your recruitment agreement, which sets out the full terms before you sign.
How quickly can you source a replacement from Bangladesh?
Sourcing and trade testing for a replacement normally take 7 to 10 days, as for a new hire, and start once you approve the replacement profile; a warranty claim takes priority in our queue. Each replacement follows the same stages as our recruitment process:
- Profile agreed from your demand letter.
- Interviews, trade test and medical.
- Your approval of candidates.
- Visa and BMET emigration clearance.
Visa, medical and clearance processing then add to that time, so we confirm a realistic schedule when the claim is opened.
What happens if a worker absconds?
Absconding inside the 180-day warranty period is covered. Once you confirm and report the departure, we open the claim, agree the replacement profile with you and source a vetted substitute on the written warranty terms. The substitute carries no additional recruitment fee and completes the same trade test, medical and background checks before travel.
