Worker Profiling and Reemployment Mapping

Manpower BDWorker Profiling and Reemployment Mapping

Know what a worker can do before he boards the plane.

Worker profiling is how you know what a worker can do before he boards the plane: each candidate is trade-tested, document-checked and reference-confirmed into one verified worker profile. Bangladesh’s national registers exist to protect workers and inform policy, not to help a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) employer shortlist a crew.

Profiling closes that gap with an evidence file per candidate — scored trade-test grade, prior Gulf contracts, named references and medical status — built by us as a private recruitment tool, not a public register. You shortlist on proof, and under the Employer Pays Principle the worker pays nothing.

How Do Verified Worker Profiles Work?

  • A hands-on trade test scores each claimed skill against a fixed benchmark, so a weak welder is caught in Dhaka, not on site.
  • Passports, prior Gulf contracts, departure records and references sit in one profile, cutting document chasing before mobilisation.
  • Zero-cost skilled manpower on the Employer Pays Principle: placement is employer-funded, which lowers early drop-off risk.
  • Filters on trade, verified grade and availability turn a large demand into a comparable shortlist your team can rank quickly.
  • Anything we cannot verify is shown as unverified in the profile, so residual risk sits in plain view before you select.

What Does a Worker Profile Actually Record?

A worker profile is an evidence file on one candidate — verified trade grade, site history, documents, references and medical status — assembled so an employer shortlists on proof rather than on a CV’s claims.

Trade and Specialisation

Each profile pins the exact trade rather than a broad label: a 6G pipe welder, a structural fitter or an HVAC technician, with the tools handled, materials worked and the site settings performed in.

Verified, Not Claimed

Declared ability is proven through a structured, hands-on trade test scored against a fixed benchmark that Gulf employers recognise; any claim short of proof is recorded as unverified, not quietly dropped.

Documents and References

Passports, previous contracts, iqama or residence-permit records and departure records are logged against each profile, alongside named, contactable employer references and current medical status.

Zero-Cost Skilled Manpower

Our lead tier places trade-tested workers at zero cost to the candidate: the hiring employer carries the placement cost, so people arrive without having paid their way in and drop-off stays lower.

Low-Cost Migration Route

For roles outside the zero-cost band, a low-cost migration route keeps the worker’s own outlay modest, stated plainly in the profile before selection so the commercial basis is clear to both sides.

Matched Selection

Profiles are filtered against your trade, grade and availability requirements, so only relevant candidates reach your desk in one comparable format, while the final decision stays with your team.

What Does a Worker Profile Actually Record?

Every field is captured for one reason: to help your team match, compare and select on evidence, not on a CV.

Profile fieldWhat the profile shows
Trade & specialisationNot "welder" but 6G pipe welder, structural fitter or HVAC technician.
Site historyCountry, employer, project type and duration for each posting.
Documentary evidencePrevious contracts, iqama or residence-permit records and BMET departure records.
CertificationBTEB or trade-test result where held, with the certificate number.
Employer referencesNamed and contactable, not "reference available on request".
Medical & age statusFitness category and GAMCA clearance status.
Language & literacyWorking Arabic or English, and the ability to read a work instruction.

Why Does Worker Profiling Save You Money?

Every worker profile is built and shared with the worker’s written consent, and every claim in it is backed by a document, a named reference or a scored trade test — or it is marked as unverified. All our recruitment follows the Overseas Employment and Migrants Act, 2013 (Act No. 48 of 2013), the statute that governs overseas employment from Bangladesh. Shortlist Before Mobilisation

Rejecting a candidate on evidence in Dhaka costs a conversation; rejecting him on site in Dammam costs the visa, flight, medical and lost site time again. Each worker profile carries a verified trade grade, site history and checked documents, so the wrong fit is screened out before any visa is raised. Profiles of experienced returnee workers arrive with prior Gulf contracts already on record, speeding that early decision.

Fifty CVs arrive in fifty layouts; fifty worker profiles arrive in one. Every candidate is recorded on the same fields — trade, verified grade, site history, references and medical status — so a large demand reads as a table you can scan and rank. Side-by-side comparison also exposes weak points early, because an unverified field stands out at once against a verified one.

Each file keeps the profile, the scored trade-test result, certificates, Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) departure records and Gulf Approved Medical Centres Association (GAMCA) medical status together in one place. When a client or authority audits your labour supply, the evidence is already assembled instead of being reconstructed months later. The paper trail is complete from registration onward.

Competence is verified before a visa is raised, not discovered after arrival, so mismatched hires and repeat mobilisation costs fall sharply. Each verified grade comes from our screening and quality assurance stage, where a hands-on trade test is scored against a fixed benchmark. If verified competence still fails to match on arrival, the worker is replaced under our written replacement policy without an additional agency fee.

Worker Profiling Across the Trades You Hire

Welders, electricians, masons, plumbers, steel fixers and heavy-equipment operators are profiled with tested competence at the core, and each worker profile shows the systems handled, the materials worked and the settings performed in before travel.

  • Trade test first: a hands-on test scores each claimed skill against a fixed benchmark before shortlisting.
  • Exact designation: the profile states 6G pipe welder or structural fitter, not a broad trade label.
  • Site history: country, employer, project type and duration are logged for each prior posting.
  • Equipment handled: tools, machines and materials worked appear against every tested trade claim.

Facility and service roles, from HVAC and maintenance technicians to housekeeping, catering and storekeeping staff, are profiled on the same evidence basis, so a services employer shortlists on proof of prior settings rather than on a job title alone.

  • Prior settings: the type of site served in earlier contracts is recorded, not assumed from a title.
  • Named references: supervisors are listed as contactable people, not “reference on request”.
  • Medical status: GAMCA clearance status sits inside the profile before any selection is made.
  • Language check: working Arabic or English and the ability to read a work instruction are noted.

Semi-skilled and developing candidates are profiled honestly: verified levels appear as they stand and gaps stay marked as unverified rather than inflated, while many enter through the low-cost migration route and build toward a fully verified profile.

  • Honest grading: a developing welder is shown at his tested level, not rounded up to win a demand.
  • RPL route: workers can earn Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) certification for skills learned on site.
  • BTEB pathway: Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) certification is arranged where a standard exists.
  • Progress recorded: new certificates and tested grades update the profile, so development stays visible.

From Intake to Your Shortlist

Brief and Intake

Your role brief sets the trade, grade and start date, and candidates are registered in one standard profile format with claims and documents collected for checking.

Verification

Stated postings are matched against BMET departure records, and each candidate sits a hands-on trade test scored against a fixed benchmark for the profile.

Documents Ready

Certificates, GAMCA medical status and named references are confirmed, gaps are flagged as unverified, and BTEB certification is arranged where a standard exists.

Shortlist and Deploy

Only fitting profiles reach your desk, each showing what is proven and what is unverified, so your team selects side by side and deployment proceeds on evidence.

FAQs about worker profiling from Bangladesh

How Does Worker Profiling Verify a Worker?

A CV is what a worker says about himself; a worker profile is what we could verify. Every entry is checked against contracts, residence-permit records, BMET departure records, named references and a scored, hands-on trade test. Anything that fails verification is marked as unverified rather than removed, so you can weigh the remaining risk yourself before shortlisting.

No. Systems run by BMET and its partners record migration and return at national level to support policy and worker protection, not employer shortlisting. Our verified worker profiles are a private recruitment tool: trade detail, verification status and site history assembled per candidate so a hiring team can decide. They are maintained by Manpower BD and are not open to the public.

Yes. We share sample worker profiles for the trades you need, so you can judge the format and depth before signing anything. Full candidate profiles follow once your demand letter is attested, and you can begin by sending a short manpower request with trade, headcount and start date. Final selection from the shortlist stays with your team.

No. Profiling, trade testing and certification are paid by us or by the hiring employer, in line with the Employer Pays Principle. The worker pays nothing at any stage, and no cost is recovered later through wage deduction. That protection is one reason motivation holds and early drop-off among zero-cost hires stays lower.

The worker is replaced under our written replacement policy, without an additional agency fee. That commitment applies whenever verified competence does not match the profile on arrival — the mismatch is our error to correct, not your cost to carry. Because unverified fields are marked from the start, your team can also see where any residual risk sits before selecting.
